New Nissan Leaf EV 2010: The United Kingdom will become the third global manufacturing location for Nissan’s new dedicated electric vehicle, the Leaf, the automaker has announced.
Production of the Nissan Leaf will begin in Oppama, Japan later this year followed by Smyrna, Tennessee, USA in 2012. The Japanese firm’s Sunderland plant in the UK will commence production in 2013 with an initial annual capacity of around 50,000 units.

Nissan 370Z 40th Anniversary Auto 2010: Shortly after releasing MSRPs on the 2010 Rogue S Krom Edition, Nissan announced pricing for another special edition model, the 370Z 40th Anniversary Edition, which is scheduled to go on sale in early spring 2010. Created to commemorate the 40th anniversary of the original Datsun 240Z, the special 370Z will be produced in a limited run of 1,000 units for the States with prices, including destination and handling, starting from $39,580 (that’s about €26,800 for our Euro readers).

Nissan Rogue S Krom Auto 2010: Nissan has released pricing for its new 2010 Rogue S Krom Edition that’s on sale now with a starting MSRP (excluding tax, title and license fees) of $23,940 for the front-wheel drive model and $25,140 for the AWD version.

Marketed as a ’special sporty’ version of the Rogue, the Krom Edition is all about looks with Nissan’s definition of the term translating into blingy 17-inch alloy wheels, a center-exit sport-tuned exhaust, a specific two-bar chrome grille and a different treatment for the front and rear bumpers.

Nissan GT-R R35 Sport Auto at 2010 Tokyo Auto Salon: apanese tuning firm Tommy Kaira will be showcasing a new sport package comprising of numerous aerodynamic add-ons as well as suspension and interior upgrades for the Nissan GT-R R35 at the forthcoming Tokyo Auto Salon that runs from January 15 to 17.

As you can see in the teaser sketches and the photos shot during the development phase after the break, the aero package consists of a front bumper with a lip spoiler, side skirts, extended rear fenders, a rear wing and a chunky rear diffuser, all trimmed in carbon fiber.

Nissan Qashqai Auto 2010: Nissan has given its European market compact crossover, the Qashqai, a mid-life makeover for 2010 to prolong its appeal to consumers. So what’s new about the Qashqai? Well, first of all, most of the cosmetic changes concern the front end as hood, bumper, fenders, grille and headlights have all been revised giving the Qashai a much more aggressive look.
There are also two new exterior colors, revised tail lights with LED technology, and newly designed 17-inch alloy wheels.

These styling changes together with a series of other improvements are said to have reduced the Qashqai’s drag coefficient from 0.34 to 0.33.

Nissan Announces Pricing for Upgraded 2010 Cube:The 2010 model year brings new standard features and slightly higher prices for three out of four models in the Nissan Cube range. All models (Base, S, SL and Krom Edition), are powered by a 122HP 1.8-liter four-cylinder engine that can be linked to either Nissan’s Xtronic CVT or a 6-speed manual transmission. The starting MSRP, which doesn’t include applicable tax, title and license fees, has remained unchanged from 2009 at $13,990 for the 1.8 Base model.
