Anti Porsche Lawsuit luxury autos for 2010: In a continuation of the Porsche-Volkswagen takeover/stock controversy, 18 hedge funds added their names to a list of people taking Porsche to court in a $2 Billion lawsuit here in the States.
Porsche, Wendelin Wiedeking (former CEO), and Holger Härter (former CFO) are said to have committed fraud and “manipulated the market” over a four-year period in order to keep the company out of bankruptcy. (more…)

Porsche Autos: Boxster and Cayman Releases Four New Option Packages: Porsche is offering (at least in Europe) buyers a new choice of individualization options for the Boxster roadster and Cayman coupe with the release of two equipment (Comfort and Infotainment) and two design packages (Design and Design Sport) that add a host of bits and bobbles to the two cars.

2011 Porsche Cayenne SUV – Breaking news: after more leaks than the Titanic, Porsche came out of hiding and released official photos and initial specs on its redesigned SUV model that will have its first public outing at next week’s Geneva Motor Show..

The verdict is still out on the new Cayenne’s styling, but from what we can tell by these images, the next generation of Porsche’s most profitable model looks less clumsy and a bit more sleeker than its predecessor thanks to a lowered roofline, steeper angle of the rear tailgate and sharper looking snout.

Porsche SpeedART 911 Turbo Auto 2010: The new Porsche 911 Turbo is one of the fastest production cars in the market, but that wasn’t enough for SpeedART as the German tuner decided to up the ante with the introduction of BTR II 580. Thanks to the reprogrammed ECU and a new sport exhaust system that comes with a sound control switch, SpeedART managed to squeeze another 80 ponies and 120Nm of torque from the 3.8-liter turbocharged flat-six boosting output to 580HP.
That’s good enough for a 0-100km/h (62mph) sprint time of 3.2 seconds and a top speed of 325km/h or 202 mph for the PDK double-clutch model. The power kit is priced at €9,890.

Porsche Unveils New 911 GT3 R 480HP Racer: Building on the 991 GT3 Cup, Porsche has developed yet another racing car for the 2010 motorsport season. The new 911 GT3 R is based on the international FIA GT3 regulations and its designed to replace the 911 GT3 Cup S. The ‘R’ model is powered by a larger-displacement four-liter six-cylinder boxer engine that delivers an output of 480-horsepower driving the rear wheels through a six-speed sequential gearbox.
